LPL Summer 2019 - Week 3 Day 1

OMG look refreshed with the additions of Curse and Kryst4l to the lineup but with BiliBili coming off of a tough loss to FunPlus you know they'll be extra motivated to get right here against one of the bottom half teams. I was extremely high on BiliBili going into the season and while our big bet on them to take a game or two off of FunPlus didn't pay off I still expect them to be one of the best teams in the league. This line feels weighted toward the most recent result for both these teams. BiliBili got smashed by FunPlus but most teams get smashed by them, even good ones. OMG looked good against a Team WE team that projects to be a middle of the table team at best. We're getting a bit of overreactino from both cooked into this.With side selection also on their side I expect BiliBili to dissect OMG and we're getting amazing value here. If BiliBili didn't just get smoked by an elite FPX team this line would be closer to -1.5 @ -150 or -175 range. We're getting a ton of value. I'm firing heavy on BiliBili tomorrow morning and expect them to handle OMG with ease.

I think there has been a bit of an overreaction to Invictus' rough start. New support Lucas hasn't looked great so far but considering this team has had the same support for nearly two calendar years this is a pretty big change especially considering how good a player Baolan is. They're going to have some growing pains and if you consider how good Dominus look and LNG's hot start you can't really fault them that much for dropping a few games. It's like people forgot that they still managed to win that series against Dominus. 

Victory 5 look like they're going to be the worst team in the league and appear lost without their best player Jinoo who is tearing it up. I don't really know what else to say about them they just have no direction.

I love this as a "get right" game for Invictus. Unfortunately for us the odds are a bit out of range. I'm going to put a couple units on the -1.5 mostly because I don't see any lost games against V5 even if IG are bad but the value isn't there so we're limiting our exposure. Instead we're going relatively heavy on the under 32 which I think is a really low time number for an IG team that historically enjoys speed running bad teams like V5. Expect them to get it together and utterly smoke V5.
