While Jin Air has looked pretty one dimensional in their stall out strategy they've been pretty damn good at it. MVP has shown a willingness to try early game snowball types of compositions but they often draft themselves into weird scenarios and compositions that are just too difficult for them to pull off. I could see them possibly snowballing a game here like they did last year but a lot of the same problems are represented here in a lineup devoid of significant change or upgrades that we've seen so far.
Result: WIN (+3 unit)
Moneyline: Jin Air -1.5 @ +153 (0.5 units)
I'm fairly confident that Jin Air is going to 2 - 0 this series. MVP just haven't shown me anything yet and I'm willing to eat half a unit to see that.

Moneyline: KT Rolster -154 (2 units)
Ahh the Telecom War! This one is noticably less hype to me simply because SKT have not looked themselves even against weaker competition. KT's only game losses have come to an Afreeca team that had a solid draft answer to the Veigar into Azir by having Tahm Kench and Kogmaw (Kog + Azir is broken ...). I think they just lost the draft, the following two games they won and their other loss was to KSV who just look lights out right now. Something is up with this SKT team and while I trust they'll eventually get it together I don't think it'll be in time for this week. That being said these teams tend to elevate against each other so I'm not willing to call a clean sweep but I think this series goes 2 - 1 in favor of KT.

I went 2 - 2 with this bet yesterday but over the first weeks of the season the LPL has been clocking in at WELL UNDER the 34-36 minute Over/Unders that the books have been setting. I think I might be on to something here. At worst I learn my lesson and this will morph into "Bet the Under when a heavy Chinese favorite is playing."

Result: WIN WIN LOSS LOSS (- 0.07 unit), The BG @ OMG game was two good teams against each other and went to longer games including a 51 minute game which is the longest in the LPL this season. Maybe we stick to UNDER 35 in heavy favorites like I was saying but I wanna play out this string a little bit longer.

As I said in my Week In Review post I plan to limit spending on parlays to smaller numbers to minimize losses as I wasted a ton last week. This one feels pretty solid and I'll put 0.2 on it.
